OUR MISSION
Creative Adventure Lab delivers play-based experiences that build creativity and empower the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and change-makers.
BRIEF HISTORY
Creative Adventure Lab was founded by Jordan DeGree in 2008, in Dubuque, IA.
As a teacher, Jordan saw firsthand how creative energy could spark positive change in students. He envisioned an organization that could use creativity to help build a better, stronger community.
Many years later, Creative Adventure Lab continues to develop new and exciting ways to ignite the creative spark in both kids and adults.
LOCATION
Creative Adventure Lab is housed within the Dubuque Idea Campus, a mixed use development in Downtown Dubuque that offers opportunities for play, work, and learning.

Creative Adventure Lab is an IDEA BRIGHT initiative. Idea Bright is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that designs, tests, and scales ideas that help individuals and communities thrive.
In addition to running Creative Adventure Lab, Idea Bright manages a network of coworking spaces called Innovation Labs and promotes rural entrepreneurship through the Rural Ideas Network.
