Time to get your hands dirty! Our 6-week pottery wheel course is a fun experience for those who want to learn how to use a potter's wheel to make functional art. During the course, you'll learn how to use an electric potter's wheel to create basic forms like mugs, bowls, and vases. You'll also have a chance to practice basic glazing techniques. By the end of this course, you can expect to have 2-4 finished pieces to take home. This is a great course for those brand new to pottery or for anyone who has taken a course but is looking for a refresher. WHAT TO WEAR You should be prepared to be in a workshop environment, which can be messy. We recommend wearing comfy clothes that can get dirty. ATTENDANCE It's important that you attend each class since they build off what you learned & practiced in the previous class.
